On Saturday, May 9, 2026, at her home, Mrs. Elizabeth A. Hasken, age of 80, of Louisville, Kentucky departed this life to rest in Abraham’s bosom until that great resurrection morning. Elizabeth was born July 23, 1945, to the late Buford A. Boston and Elizabeth Waddell Boston. Also preceded in death by her siblings, Kenneth A. Boston, Jerry W. Boston, and Caroline Boston Carr.
Elizabeth was saved as a 12-year-old girl at Pine Grove United Baptist Church in Hart County and Baptized in Little Dog Creek. Her lifelong devotion was to serve God. She was a faithful member of Campbells Chapel United Baptist Church until her death.
Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 25 years John Hasken; brother-in-law, Don Hasken (Cathy); sister, Beverly Butts; niece, Kim Hicks (Bill Harrison); and a host of family and friends.
Funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm on Friday, May 15, 2026 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with burial to follow at Lone Hill United Baptist Church Cemetery. Friends and family may pay their respects on Thursday, May 14th from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm and on Friday from 10:00 am until the time of service at 12:00 pm at the funeral home.
