Emma Louise Ryan, age 90, of Louisville, KY returned to her Heavenly Father on Thursday, January 16, 2025. She was born in Jefferson County, KY on July 21, 1934, to the late Price and Kathryn Grey. She was a homemaker and a member of Summit Hills Baptist Church.
Besides her parents she is also preceded in death by two brothers, Bob Grey and Howard Grey; sister, Allene Grey.
She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Robert “Bob” Ryan, Sr.; son, Robert Ryan, Jr.; daughters Ruthie Hufford (Mark) and Deborah “Debbie” Posey; sisters Ruth Adamson and Nellie Duncan; grandchild, Jennifer Nanna (Chad); two great grandchildren, Kyleigh Bryan and Averie Nanna; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be conducted at 12 noon on Friday, January 24, 2025, in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road) with entombment in Resthaven Memorial Park Cemetery.. Friends may pay their respects on Thursday, January 23, 2025, from 2 pm until 8 pm and on Friday from 10 am until time of service at the funeral home.
