Eric Dean “Big Niebs” Niebruegge, age 38, of Louisville, Kentucky, returned to his Heavenly Father on Thursday, May 7, 2026, with his family by his side. Eric was born in Worthington, Minnesota, on July 7, 1987, to Brent Dean Niebruegge and Lila (Toussaint) Niebruegge. He was employed at Ford Louisville Assembly Plant for over 10 years where he was working in quality control. Eric was a loving and devoted dad, partner, son, brother, grandson, and friend. He loved spending time on the lake, boating, water rafting, sitting around the campfire after a long day talking with friends. One of his favorite things to do was to go to car shows and car meetups, working on cars and trucks “tearing them down and putting them back together”. He also liked watching and rooting on the Bears. Eric had a big heart, always went out of his way to help a friend. He had the gift of gab. He could spend an hour speaking to a stranger. However, most of all he loved spending time with his son Porter Dean, he was his Pride and Joy. Eric will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents Ron Niebruegge, Darwin and Donna Toussaint.
He leaves to cherish his memories his son Porter Dean Niebruegge, his loving partner Amanda Shaw, mother Lila Niebruegge, father Brent Dean Niebruegge (Cheryl), brother Ryan Niebruegge, nephew Cole Niebruegge, grandmother Marie Niebruegge, bonus children Kaitlyn Brady, Logan Stewart, bonus sister and brother Sherry Jones and Terry Jones (Zulemma), along with a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and other dear family and friends.
