Forest Johnson

Mr. Forest Johnson, age 81, of Canton, Ohio, formerly of Bevinsville, KY returned to his Heavenly Father on December 19, 2018. Mr. Johnson was born on July 13, 1937 in Bevinsville, KY to the late Leo and Merica (Isaac) Johnson. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother. Among those who preceded him in death are his parents; brothers, Burl James Johnson, Charles Ray Johnson, and; sisters, Shelba Jean Fouts, Adean Chafin, and Audy Bates. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 59 years, Patty (Tackett) Johnson; children, Tina Knauss (Kevin) and Timothy Paul Garrick; granddaughters, Caroline Knauss and Jane Knauss; siblings, Ishmon Johnson, Anna Caldwell, and Danny Johnson.

Funeral service will be held at 2 pm on Sunday, December 23, 2018 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with burial to follow in Brookland Cemetery on Monday morning at 10 am. Friends may pay their respects on Sunday from 12 pm until the time of the service at the funeral home.
