Frances Horn

Mrs. Frances Horn, age 85, of Louisville, Ky passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, with her family by her side. Frances was born in Bell County, Kentucky, on January 7, 1940, to the late Arthur Miracle and Melinda (Burnett) Miracle. She retired after 30 years of service from Brown & Williamson Tobacco Company. Frances was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandma, and Mamaw. She enjoyed cooking for her family, and they enjoyed eating her Chili, Thanksgiving dressing and her homemade Fudge. She also liked music and attending concerts with her girls. When Frances was in her teens her and her sisters sang gospel on the radio in Bell County, Kentucky. She also enjoyed shopping, a nice dinner out and watching Hallmark channel movies, listening to the Gaither’s Gospel Group and Daniel O’Donnell. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.  

She was preceded in death by her parents, late husband Herbert Horn, along with 8 siblings.

She is survived by her daughters Gloria Spears, Diana Bentley (Roger), sons Tim Horn and Kevin Horn (DeeAnn), 4 grandchildren, 11 Great-grandchildren, sister Dixie Owens, brother Alonzo Miracle (Karon).  Along with a host of nieces, nephews, and other dear family and friends. A Funeral service will be held on Monday, August 18, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Schoppenhorst Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home (4895 N. Preston Hwy, at John Harper Freeway). The visitation will be held on Monday, August 18, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 2:00 p.m.  Burial to follow at Brookland Cemetery.
