Frank Leroy Russell

Frank L. Russell, Jr., age 91, passed away on March 9, 2022, in San Jose, CA. He was born in Louisville to Frank L. Russell and Hortense Deeg Russell on May 24, 1930. Frank was much loved by family and friends. He was an Air Force veteran and worked as a warehouse manager, retiring at age 88 after 23 years with REALM Communications.

Frank is survived by his wife, Mary Frances Russell; son, John Russell (Susan); stepchildren, Henry Sang (Chiu), Charles Sang, and Marie Sang Sanfilippo (Chuck); grandchildren, Bryan and Shannon Russell; step-grandchildren, Katie, Kasha, and Taylor Sang; siblings, Mary J. Payne, John and Joseph Russell, and Geraldine Schroth. He was preceded in death by siblings, Lawrence Russell and Beatrice Foushee.

Visitation will be 1:00 – 8:00 pm, Monday, April 11, 2022, at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home, Shepherdsville, KY. Funeral service at 10:00 am, April 12, 2022, at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home followed by burial at 12:0 pm at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central, Radcliff, KY. Please, no flowers.
