Fred Hale Paul, Jr.

Fred Hale Paul, Jr., age 78, of Shepherdsville, Ky returned to his Heavenly Father on Monday, December 16, 2024. Fred was born on November 14, 1946, in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Fred H. Paul, Sr. and Helen “Snawder” Paul.  He worked maintenance for Methodist Hospital and Housing Authority of Louisville. He was an Army veteran and a Catholic by faith. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, son, John R. Paul; brother Walter H. Paul; sister, Sharon Chiquito.

He leaves to cherish his memory his children, Terri Horne (Donald), Angela Paul Hinson and Fred H. Paul III; three step sons, Gary Wiehebrink, Jr. (Missi), Chris Wiehebrink (Shanon) and Justin Wiehebrink (April); beloved friend, Trudy Blevins-Paul; grandson, Christopher; six grandchildren; ten greatgrandchildren; two great great grandchildren; and other dear family and friends.

A Funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, December 23, 2024, in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (4895 N. Preston Hwy at Brooks Rd) with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Family and friends may pay their respects on Sunday, December 22, 2024, from 1:00p.m. to 8:00p.m. and from 10:00a.m. until the time of service Expression of sympathy to Hosparus of Louisville
