Fredrick "Fred" Lee Belcher

Fredrick Lee “Fred” Belcher, age 87, of Shepherdsville, Kentucky returned to his Heavenly Father on Tuesday, April 30, 2024. He was born on June 21, 1936, in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Fredrick Rudolph and Lucille Sharp Belcher. Fred was a proud veteran of the United States Navy and a member of St. Aloysius Church. He retired from Jefferson County Public Schools after 37 years of faithful service where he taught Industrial Arts at Fern Creek High School. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Teresa Belcher; daughter, Beth Ann Belcher; son, Alan Vest; brother, Bob Belcher and sister, Priscilla Moore.

He leaves to cherish his memory his children, David Belcher (Missy), Laura Belcher (William Vernon, Sr.), Tony Belcher and Brandon Belcher (Laura); grandchildren, A’Morgan, Meriah, William Vernon II, Rachel, Rebecca, Chloe, Dillon, Hallie, Braxton and Kaylee; 6 great-grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.

Graveside service will be conducted on Wednesday, May 8, 2024, at 12 pm at Brookland Cemetery.
