Gary R. Rutledge

Mr. Gary R. Rutledge, age 58, of Shepherdsville, returned to his Heavenly Father on Monday, October 17, 2022. Mr. Rutledge was born in Louisville, KY on March 3, 1964. His home church was Evangel World Prayer Center and he also attended Little Flock Baptist Church. He was a Journeyman Electrician and retired from Ford Motor Company after 33 ½ years of dedicated service.

Among those who preceded him in death are, his mother, Marie Rutledge and his father-in-law, Thomas Kirk.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his beloved wife of 38 years, Tammy Sue Kirk Rutledge; daughters, Amber Grace Thompson and Tiffany Anna Rutledge; grandchild, Sinead Hope Thompson; father, James Rutledge (Linda); brothers, James Dean Rutledge (Dawn) and Terry Rutledge (Kendall); nieces and nephews, Alexander, Lauren, Elisabeth and Jamie; mother-in-law, Della Kirk and a host of other dear family and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, October 21, 2022 at Evangel World Prayer Center (6900 Billtown Rd., Louisville, KY) with burial to follow at Crosswater Gardens Cemetery. Friends and family may pay their respects on Friday from 11:00 am until the time of his service at 1:00 pm at the church.
