George Hendrick Gardner

Mr. George Hendrick Gardner, age 59, of Louisville, KY returned to his Heavenly Father on Thursday, March 22, 2018. Mr. Gardner was born on February, 28, 1959. He was a loving Father to his son, Jay (USMC). He was an outdoors man who loved golfing, fishing and recreational shooting.

Mr. Gardner was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth J. and Christina (Van Der Kooi) Gardner and a sister, Norma Fenwick.

Mr. Gardner leaves to cherish his memory his son, Jay Tyler Gardner; grandson, Damon Gardner, sisters, Yvonne Gardner, Kathryn Graves, Bonita Heslin (Frank); brother, Ken Heagle; nieces and nephews, Heather Kinnaird, Brian Fenwick, Jason Graves, Jillian Graves, Jessica Heslin, and Nick Heslin and their families.

Funeral services will be held at 6:00 pm on Tuesday, March 27, 2018 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (4895 N Preston Hwy) with cremation to follow. Friends may pay their respects on Tuesday from 1:00 to 6:00 pm at the funeral home. www.subfuneralhome.com
