Gerald Kenneth "Jerry" Barnett

Mr. Gerald Kenneth “Jerry” Barnett, age 57, of Shepherdsville, Kentucky returned to his Heavenly Father on Friday, January 14, 2022. He was born on June 27, 1964 to the late Luther and Jeanette Barnett in Louisville, Kentucky. He was a Navy Veteran and a Christian by faith. Jerry enjoyed watching his favorite teams the Boston Red Sox, Kentucky Wildcats and spending time with his family and friends.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 24 years, Monica Barnett; his son, Jacob Barnett; his siblings, Luther Barnett Jr. (Jan), Donald Barnett (Pam), Laura Belew (Glenn), David Barnett (Diane), William Barnett (Teri), Joe Barnett (Teresa), John Barnett (Cindy) and Steve Barnett (Amy); along with a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held at 12:00pm on Saturday, January 22, 2022 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy at Brooks Rd) with burial to follow in Brookland Cemetery. Family and friends may pay their respects on Friday, January 21, 2022 from 3:00pm until 8:00pm and again on Saturday from 10:00am until the time of service.
