Glen Eugene Froman, age 61, of Shively, Kentucky returned to his Heavenly Father on Monday, September 28, 2026. He was born on November 6, 1964, in Louisville, Kentucky to the late James Alton Froman and Joyce Ann (Baumgardner) Samuels. Glen proudly served in the United States Army National Guard for 11 years. He enjoyed fishing and listening to music, especially Rock and Roll. Glen was a talented artist and also played the guitar. He was an especially good guy but did like to crack jokes on his siblings from time to time. He was blessed to have the love and support of all his siblings and family members. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, James Alton Froman, Jr. and Charles Walter Samuels and his brother-in-law, Jimmy Dunford.
Those left to honor and cherish his memory are his siblings, Kathy, Rhonda, Gary, Sandy, Jeff (Resa), Tammy (Brent), Karen (Troy) and Kelly along with a host of other nieces, nephews, family and friends.
A Memorial funeral service will be conducted on Thursday, October 8, 2026, at 3:30 pm in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.). Family and friends may pay their respects on Thursday, October 8, 2026, from 2:00 pm until the time of service at the funeral home.
