

Mr. Glenn Gray, age 75, of Lebanon Junction, KY, returned to his Heavenly Father on Tuesday, August 23, 2022. Mr. Gray was born in Louisville, KY on December 6, 1946 to the late John Calnan and Melvin Riley “Bobbie” Gray. He was a member of Bullitt Lodge 155 F & A M and McNeil Lodge 586 F & AM,
Past Master in the years 2000 & 2016. Many years of service as Secretary of Bullitt Lodge. Member of Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite, Valley of Louisville
Member of the Louisville Foundation and the Kentucky Foundation ( the charitable arms of the Scottish Rite) Charter Member and forever secretary /treasurer of the Scottish Rite Club of Bullitt County and driving force behind it's charitable endeavor, The Students Recognition Program for more than 32 years. Glenn was recognized for his many contributions to the Scottish Rite by receiving his Knight Commander of the Court of Honor and also the 33*. In the York Rite of Freemasonry Glenn was also a dedicated Mason having served as presiding officer of his Chapter , Council and Commandery and for those contributions he was awarded the honor of Knight of York Cross of Honor as well as membership in the York Rite Sovereign College of North America. Glenn was also a KOSAIR Shriner for many years and generous donor to all the Masonic Philanthropies.He was a teacher at Mt. Washington Junior High, assistant principal at Hebron Middle School, Principal at Bullitt Lick Middle School. He was inducted to Male High School Hall of Fame in 2015. Among those who preceded him in death are, his parents.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his beloved wife, Barbara Buckman Gray of 51 years; son, James Calnan Gray (Angie); sister, Mary Lou Colomb: granddaughter, McKenna; and a host of other dear family and friends.
Funeral service will be held at 12 pm on Monday, August 29, 2022 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with burial to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Bardstown. Friends and family may pay their respects on Sunday from 12:00 pm until 8:00 pm and on Monday from 10:00 am until the time of service at 12:00 pm at the funeral home. Rose Croix service will be Sunday at 6:30 pm and the Masonic service at 7 pm. Expression of sympathy may be made to Scottish Rite Club of Bullitt Co. Student Recognition Program, P.O.
