Glenys Luckett

Glenys Luckett, age 76, of Shepherdsville, Kentucky returned to her Heavenly Father on Sunday, December 7, 2025, with loving family by her side. She was born on May 17, 1949, in Ipswich Suffolk, England to the late Edward James and Elsie (Gilby) Lovell. Glenys enjoyed bowling in various leagues in her earlier days. She loved flowers and also loved her dogs. She enjoyed baking and her family fondly remembers her chocolate cakes. Glenys was selfless, always putting the needs of others before her own. Her true passion was her family; spending time with her grandchildren and great-children is what Glenys held most dear to her heart. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Brittany Hardin; sister, Janice Tuchscherer and brother, Pat Lovell.

Those left to cherish her memory are her beloved husband of 58 years, Paul Luckett; children, Chris Luckett (Nellie), Jason Luckett (April) and Kaydrian Badgett (Rob); grandchildren, Alexandra Glidewell (Andrew), Kaylee Badgett (Blake), Blake Luckett, Augusta Lawrence and Gloria Lawrence; great-grandchildren, Danielle Dean, Peyton Pilkenton and Aniyah Biven; sister, Margaret Turner (Tommy) and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at 7:00 pm in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with cremation to follow. Family and friends may pay their respects on Saturday, December 13, 2025, from 1:00 until the time of the service at the funeral home.
