Gregory "Greg" Bruce Wallace

Mr. Gregory “Greg” Bruce Wallace, 63, of Shepherdsville, KY, passed away on Wednesday, April 26, 2023. He was born in Charleston, WV on September 29, 1959, to the late Billy Joe Bruce Wallace and Janet Mae (Wellman) Wallace. Greg was a Locomotive Engineer for CSX railroad for 33 years. Greg was a supportive husband, a loving father, and simply “Poppi” to his two grandchildren, who he adored. He was an animal lover, a very generous and kind man, he loved entertaining around the pool at his home with family and friends. Greg also was well known in his subdivision for all his kind deeds like cutting lawns for his neighbors, and good conversations. He liked camping, going to Texas, and sometimes even fishing. He will be truly missed by all who knew him especially his family and friends,

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 40 years Dreama Wallace, his two daughters, Kristin Wallace Jordan (Stuart), Hannah Wallace, two grandchildren, Haddie Jordan, and John Wells Jordan, sister, Joan Leslie Wallace McComas, brothers, Mark Wallace, and Michael Brent Wallace, along with a host of nieces and nephews, and other dear family and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, May 3, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. for family and friends at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (4895 N.Preston Hwy at Brooks Rd). Cremation was chosen.
