Mr. Harry Lee Lay, Jr., age 51, of Louisville returned to his Heavenly Father on Tuesday, October 6, 2020. Harry was born October 28, 1968 in Louisville to Sharon (Milburn) and Harry Lee Lay, Sr. Mr. Lay worked for Ford Truck Plant and was a member of the Local UAW #862. Among those that preceded him in death are his maternal grandparents, Wilma P Roby and Leonard Milburn; paternal grandparents, Alice Virginia and Howard W. Lay, Sr.
He leaves to cherish his memory his parents, Sharon and Harry Lay, Sr.; sisters, Judy Mullins (Scott) and Karen Chapman (Will); brother, Kevin Lay; niece, Katie Jackson (Dakota); nephews, Cody and Jacob Lay and Cameron Chapman; great-nephews, Joshua Lay and Zander Jackson; great-niece, Zaylee Jackson; and great-nephew on the way, Noah Wade Lay.
Funeral service will be held at 1 pm on Saturday, October 10, 2020 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with interment to follow at Brookland Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects on Friday from 11 am until 8 pm and on Saturday from 10 am until the time of service at the funeral home.
