Mrs. Hattie Frances Flowers, age 93, of Brooks, returned to her Heavenly Father on Wednesday, August 19, 2026. She was born to the late John E and Flona Gillock in Glasgow, Kentucky on November 20, 1932. She is preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband, Frederick Flowers; and son, Mitchell Flowers.
Hattie had regular Scrabble games with family and friends, always had an extra plate at the table and a warm smile for those around. She taught her family to be generous, caring and to seek Jesus.
She leaves behind her cherished family, including daughters: Marilyn Flowers Ocegueda (Jose); Brenda Flowers; son, John Flowers (Sandi), daughter-in-law, Cathy Flowers; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
The funeral will be held at Brooks Baptist Church on Saturday, September 5, 2026. Community Viewing will be held 10 AM – Noon, Funeral will be held at Noon.
