Helen Louise Hood Miller

Mrs. Helen Louise Hood Miller, age 91, of Hillview returned to her Heavenly Father on January 29, 2018. Mrs. Miller retired from Bullitt County Public Schools where she worked as a cook for Overdale Elementary School. She was a member of Hillview Community Christian Church. Among those that preceded her in death include her parents, James and Catherine Gibbs Hood; husband, Jack Miller; daughter, Lynda Williamson; and brothers, Albert and Clyde Hood. She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Don Foard (Pam), Donna Craig (Charles) and Tammy Harrison (Morris); 15 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be conducted at noon on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road) with interment in Evergreen Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects on Tuesday from 4-8 pm and Wednesday from 9 am until time of service at the funeral home. www.subfuneralhome.com
