Mrs. Irene Paulley Reid, 93, of Shepherdsville, returned to her Heavenly Father on Wednesday, April 30, 2014. Mrs. Reid was a member of Thixton Lane Baptist Church and a member of Fairdale Chapter 153 of the order of the Eastern Star.
Among those who preceded her in death include, her husband, John Raymond Reid; daughter, Shirley Reid; parents, Commodora and Rosie Paulley; brothers, Noah and Oscar Paulley; sisters, Mary Lanman and Maude Gray; daughter- in- law, Janet Smith Reid and son- in- law, Ray Brotherton.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her daughters, Margaret Sadler (Johnny) and Betty Brotherton; son, Raymond Junior Reid ; 13 grandchildren; 25 great- grandchildren; 9 great- great- grandchildren; brother, Joseph L. Paulley and a host of other family and friends.
Funeral service will be conducted at Noon on Saturday, May 3, 2014 at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home with interment in Hebron Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects on Friday from 10:00 am until 8:00 pm at Schoppenhorst.
