Jack Wright

Jack Wright, age 80, of Highview, Kentucky returned to his Heavenly Father on Sunday, October 18 ,2020.  Jack was born in Hi-Hat, Kentucky on July 6, 1940 to Cecil and Thelma “Hall” Wright. He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Alvin, Curt and David Wright.

Jack was a member of Church Alive, a pastor for 31 years and an Air Force Veteran.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 58 years, Loretta Wright; children, Tammy Winstead (Gary) , Traci Smith (Jeff) and Jack A Wright (Shanna); brothers, Cecil Wright ,Jr. (Jackie) and Larry Wright (Linda); sister, Kaye Cantrell (Roy); seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 3 pm on Thursday, October 22, 2020 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with burial at KVCC Cemetery Friday, October 23, 2020 at 10 a.m. Friends and family may pay their respects on Thursday 12 p.m. until time of service.
