Mr. James William “J.W.” Downey, age 75, from Frankfort Ky passed away peacefully on Monday, February 3, 2025, with his loved ones by his side. He was born on March 3, 1949, to the late John Downey, and Loula Mae (Riddle) Downey. He was a proud Navy Veteran retiring after 20 years of service.
He was preceded in death by his parents, stepmother Ida Mae Downey, brother Larry Wayne Downey.
He is survived by his daughter Melody Downey, Life Companion Darlene Sageser, 2 sisters Janie Pickett (John), Buelah Downey, 7 nieces and nephews. Cremation was chosen.
