James "Jim" Victor Blain

Mr. James “Jim” Victor Blain, age 67, of Bardstown returned to his Heavenly Father on June 15, 2022. Mr. Blain was born on June 26, 1954, in Louisville, KY to the late Thomas and Lena (Allen) Blain. Mr. Blain retired from General Electric and was a union steward for Local #761. He was a member of Farmdale Baptist Church. Among those that preceded him in death are his parents, and one sister.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 48 years, Charlene (Davidson) Blain; children, Josh Blain (Christie) and Jamie White (Shawn); grandchildren, Logan, Drew, Dylan, Colin, and Callie; and five brothers and sisters.

Funeral service will be conducted at 2 pm on Tuesday, June 21, 2022, in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road) with cremation to follow. Family and friends may pay their respects on Monday from 1-8 pm and Tuesday from 11 am until time of service at the funeral home. Family video on www.subfuneralhome.com
