James David "Butch" Morgan

     Mr. James David “Butch” Morgan, age 78, of Heritage Creek, KY returned to his Heavenly Father on Sunday, May 29, 2022.   Mr. Morgan was born in Jefferson County, KY on October 1, 1943, to the late Charles A. Morgan and Nora McFarland Morgan.

     He was a member of Fern Creek Christian Church, Al-Anon and had worked as a manager for several area tire stores.  He also graduated from Bellarmine College and was a member of Pigeons Roost.

    Besides his parents he is also preceded in death by two brothers, Joseph Morgan and Victor Morgan; a sister, Vivian Higgins.

    He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, JoAnn Frank Morgan; three sons, David Morgan (Lisa), Mark Morgan and Brent Morgan (Jessica); grandchildren, Noah, Fiona and Tatum; sister-in-law, Naomi Morgan; brothers-in-law, Arthur J. Frank (Diana) and Richard L. Frank (Donna) and several nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

    Funeral service will be conducted at 10 am on Saturday, June 4, 2022, in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (4895 North Preston Highway at Brooks Road).  Friends may pay their respects on Friday, June 3, 2022, from 4 pm until 8 pm and on Saturday from 9 am until time of service at the funeral home.
