James Orlin Perkins

Mr. James Orlin Perkins, age 78, of Louisville, formerly of Burkesville returned to his Heavenly Father on Friday, March 13, 2020.  Mr. Perkins was born on November 25, 1941 in Cumberland County, KY to the late Tom and Delia Perkins.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 59 years, Marie (Thrasher) Perkins; son, Don Perkins; daughters, Sandra Graves (Bill) and Patsy Williams; grandchildren, Autumnie Guevara (James), Jeremy Perkins, Jessica Wheeler (Kenny), Heather Curtsinger (Justin), Kristopher Williams (Erica); great-grandchildren, Katelynn, Daman, Angie, Shayla, Josie, Paisley, Heavenlynn, Addelynn and Brandon; brother, Glenn Perkins (Vivian); and sister, Joyce Sells.

Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 17, 2020 at 2 pm in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road) with burial to follow in Brookland Cemetery.
