

Mr. Pike was a United States Army veteran who served during the Vietnam War. He previously worked for Simpsonville Wrecker Service and retired from Southern Ventures as a diesel mechanic.
Among those who preceded him in death include, his parents, Clyde William and Mattie Florence Tong Pike and brothers, George, Joe, Ronnie and Jackson Pike.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 42 years, Myra Jean Pike; daughters, Tina Greenwell (David, Sr.), Susie "Sparky" Miller (Bill) and Jamie "Baby Jamie" Paulley (Eddie "Computer Geek"); grandchildren, Samantha "Peckerwood", Rebecca "No Butt" "Beck Beck", David, Jr. "Fat Boy" "Bub", Selena "Cheetah", Emma Grace "LBJ", Adalynn "LBJ#2", Jesse and Dustin ; great grandchildren, Ellee "LPW" and Zoey "LNB"; brother, Robert "Clunker" Pike; sisters, Mary "Lou" Coulter, Annetta "Susie" Pike and a host of other family and friends.
Funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm on Monday at Schoppenhorst Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy at Brooks Rd; use John Harper entrance) with burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects on Saturday from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Sunday from 9:00 am until 8:00 pm and after 9:00 on Monday at Schoppenhorst.
