Jeanette Ann (Bishop) Jordan

Jeannette Ann Bishop Jordan, age 67, of Butchertown returned to her Heavenly Father December 1, 2014. A loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, Mrs. Jordan was also a caregiver and a Baptist by faith.

Among those who preceded her in death include her parents, Albert and Thelma Bishop; sisters, Sue Suthland, Judy Arnold and Sandy Bishop;brother, Danny Bishop; and friend, Sue Meece.

She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Lovell Pete Jordan; children, Joseph, Cheryl, Rebecca, Jamie and Bruce Jordan; son-in-law, Sgt. Corey Seffler; 7 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren; and siblings, Linda Ferguson (Sonny), Kathy Philpot, Dorothy Lee (Ronnie), Donna Refftte, Debbie Bishop (Nancy Thompson), Albert Bishop, Jr. (Bridget), Tommy Bishop (Angie), Albert Lee Cook (Mary); friend, Caroletta Louten, and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral services will be held for Mrs. Jordon 2 p.m. Wednesday at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Road; use John Harper entrance) with interment to follow at Brookland Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects from 1 p.m. until 8 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday from 9 a.m. until time of service at Schoppenhorst.
