Jeanette “Thomas” Kleiner, age 66, of Louisville, Kentucky returned to her Heavenly Father on Wednesday, November 11, 2020. Jeanette was born in Louisville, Kentucky on December 27, 1953 to Joseph and Mildred “Bryan” Thomas. Jeanettes family meant everything to her. She had an artistic side that was creative and had no limits. While working at Wesley Manor, the residents could always count on the holiday boards Jeanette would make. Jeanette would personalize the boards so that every resident could have something that represented them whether it be a holiday card or an ornament. She was constantly giving and trying to make others’ lives more enjoyable. Jeanette loved all types of music; she learned to play the organ at St. Phillip Neri Catholic Church where she and her family grew up. Her family remembers her best by her love of cooking where she never made anything the same more than once, and how she loved to read and watch KET and PBS television stations. She is preceded in death by her parents. Jeanette leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Angie “Ulrich” Satterly (Jimmy); grandchildren, David Satterly and Julia Satterly; siblings, Danny Thomas, David Thomas (Karen), and Eddie Thomas (Karen); nieces and nephews, Brittany Thomas, Joseph Thomas, Jon Thomas, and Chris Thomas; and a host of other family and friends. Memorial service will be held at 12pm on Wednesday, November 18, 2020 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.). Friends and Family may pay their respects on Tuesday from 2pm until 8pm and on Wednesday from 10am until time of service at the funeral home. Expressions of Sympathy can be made to Wesley Manor Charitable Care. The family would like to convey their deepest gratitude to all the staff at Norton Women and Children’s Hospital for taking the best care possible of Jeanette during her time of need.
