Jeanne Angela Clark

Mrs. Jeanne Angela Clark, age 75, of Sharpsburg, Ky returned to her Heavenly Father on January 15, 2025, with her family by her side. She was born in Barren County, Kentucky on May 23, 1949, to the late Herbert Childress and Flossie (Taylor) Childress. Jeanne was a devoted wife, mother, and Nana. She was a member of Maryville Baptist Church, she enjoyed gardening and working in her yard, traveling (Gatlinburg being a favorite spot), playing cards with family and friends, and simply spending time with the love of her life Wally. Jeanne will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers Michael Childress, Harrell Childress, two sisters Kimberly Childress and Teresa Childress.  

She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years Wally Clark, son Kevin Clark (Denise), daughter Ashley Wagner, five grandchildren Ashton Freeman (Nathan), Kelsey Houchens,(Bart), Sean Wagner, Ashlynn Wagner, Lexi Wagner, Gabby Childress, Kristen Childress, five great-grandchildren Lakin, Jax, Peyton, Sloan, Tate, two brothers Gary Childress (Carolyn), Darrell Childress (Drewcilla), one sister Sharon Craine (Wendell) along with a host of nieces, nephews, and other dear family and friends.

A Funeral service will be held on Friday, January 24, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel at Schoppenhorst Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home (4895 N. Preston Hwy, at John Harper Freeway). Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and again Friday from 9:00 a.m. until time of service. Burial to follow in Brookland Cemetery.
