Jeanne Anderson Fitzgerald

   Jeanne (Keen) Anderson Fitzgerald, age 88 of Shepherdsville, returned to her Heavenly Father on Saturday, August 5, 2023.  She was born on December 7, 1934, to the late Peter and Zina (Ceplina) Keen. She was a member of Jackson Hills Baptist Church in Shepherdsville.  Jeanne was best known for her joyful nature and her love for all animals. She had amazing friends, neighbors and church family and they loved her just as she loved them.

   In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Harvey Anderson; son, Ronnie Anderson; second husband, Hubert Fitzgerald; brothers, Gerald, Eugene and Kenneth Keen and Charles Knoblock and sisters, Evelyn Williams, Betty Darby and Delores Klinger.

   Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Debbie Schadt (Mike); grandsons, Craig Schadt (Kathi), Dustin Schadt (April) and Nick Schadt (Autumn); great-grandchildren, Callahan, Carter, Makenzie, Maggie, Macy, Malin, Baylor, Caleb and Sadie; brothers, Marvin Keen (Patty), Robert Keen (Frances), Ron Keen (Lynn) and David Knoblock; many nieces and nephews and dear friends.

   Funeral Services will be at 12 pm on Friday, August 11, 2023, in the Chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy at Brooks Rd) with burial in Evergreen Cemetery.  Friends and family may pay their respects on Thursday, August 10, 2023, from 1 pm until 8 pm and on Friday, August 11, 2023, from 9 am until time of the funeral at Schoppenhorst, Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home.
