Jimmie Dee Capps

Jimmie Dee Capps, Jr., age 71, of Louisville returned to his Heavenly Father November 20, 2014. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend, as well as an avid UK fan. Mr. Capps was also a member of the Louisville Association for the Deaf, Louisville Senior Citizens Club, Fern Creek Deaf Club and the Louisville Catholic Deaf Church.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Mary Ann; daughters, Tammy Parks and Lisa Laird; grandchildren, Joshua Parks (Megan), Evan Laird, Cody Laird, and Abigail Clabaugh; a sister; and 6 nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Monday at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road and use John Harper entrance) with cremation to follow. Friends and family may pay their respects from 1 p.m. until 8 p.m. Sunday at Schopppenhorst.
