

Mr. Jimmy Dell Hadnot, age 75, of Louisville, returned to his Heavenly Father on Friday, January 18, 2019. Mr. Hadnot was born in Jasper, TX on November 27, 1943. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War, member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church and retiree of Ford Motor Company Kentucky Truck plant.
Among those who preceded him in death are, his mother, Annie Mae Alford; father, Blueitt Hadnot; his stepfather, Rev. Woodrow Alford and his siblings, Allye Willis, Woodrow Charles Alford, John Glenn Alford and Morton Glenn Alford.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 51 years, Betty C. Hadnot; his children, Bruce Howard (Stephanie), Jerome Hammon (Alicia), Valerie Hadnot Powell and Jamal Courtney; son- in- law, LaTravis Powell; grandchildren, Rashonda Howard, Laquita Pryor, Kiara Howard, Hyacinth Hammon, Ashley Wilson, Caleb Hammon, Cameron Hammon, Kelsey Hammon, Talia Powell, Zion Powell and Sasha Powell; 10 great- grandchildren; siblings, Shirley Woodard, Willie Barnes, Charletha Henry (Lee Otis) and Willimenia Mitchell; brother- in law, Robert Earl Willis., and a host of other dear family and friends.
Funeral service will be held at 12pm on Saturday, January 26, 2019 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) burial to follow at Highland Memory Gardens. Friends may pay their respects on Saturday from 10am until 12pm at the funeral home.
