John Patrick Dougherty

Mr. John Patrick Dougherty, age 75, of Louisville, Kentucky returned to his Heavenly Father on Tuesday, December 26, 2023. He was born on June 12, 1948 to the late John and Coletta (Holthouser) Dougherty in Louisville, Kentucky. Mr. Dougherty worked as a backhoe operator for Jackson Plumbing. He served in the United States Army and was in the Vietnam War. Mr. Dougherty loved old cars, taking walks in the parks, and working on his vegetable garden. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Pamela Annibal.

He leaves to cherish his memory his children, David Dougherty, Shannon Annibal, Angela Hill (David), 8 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren; siblings, Stella Adams (James), Michael Cain (Kay); and fur baby, Trixie.

Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 3, 2023 at 10:00 am in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy at Brooks Rd) with burial to follow in Brookland Cemetery. Family and friends may pay their respects on Tuesday, January 2, 2023 from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm and again on Wednesday from 9:00 am until the time of service at 10:00 am.
