John R. Foote

Mr. John Foote, 78, of Cox's Creek, returned to his Heavenly Father on Wednesday, September 11, 2013. Mr. Foote was born in North Reading, Massachusetts to the late Bertram and Mabel Foote. He served in The United States Navy and retired from Ford Motor Company.

Among those who preceded him in death include, his wife, Gladys J. Foote; parents and brother, Bertram Foote.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his sons, William Bufahl, Daniel Bufahl (Colleen) and Scott Romberg (Ellen); daughter, Susan White (Michael); grandchildren, Amanda, Danielle, Amber, Rachel & Kaci; brothers, Edward, Sonny and Don Foote; sisters, Pat Foote and Nancy Roller and a host of other family and friends.

Memorial visitation will be held on Friday, September 20, 2013 from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with internment in Brookland Cemetery to follow.
