John Fitzgerald Simon

Mr. John Fitzgerald Simon, age 61, of Okolona returned to his Heavenly Father on May 24, 2025. Mr. Simon was born on December 26, 1963, in Louisville, KY to the late Raymond Simon, Sr. and Martha (Reinhart) Armstrong. He worked at Raytheon as an electronic technician and was a member of St. Rita Catholic Church. He enjoyed woodworking and making beautiful furniture. The thing he enjoyed the most was spoiling all his nieces and nephews.

He leaves to cherish his memory his siblings, Raymond Simon, Jr., Wayne Simon (Kara), Paula Floyd (Wayne), Allen Simon (Renea), Russell Simon (Karen), Maria Eaton (John), Angela Beard (Charles), Kevin Armstrong (Michelle), Kim Gordon, Kara Simon (Wayne), and Kay Waller; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 11 am on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, at St. Rita Catholic Church (8709 Preston Highway Louisville, KY 40219) with interment in St. Michael Cemetery. Family and friends may pay their respects on Tuesday from 1-8 pm at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road). Family video on www.subfuneralhome.com
