Joseph "Joe" Donahue

Joseph T. "Joe" Donahue age 91 was born October 14, 1921 to the late Francis and Mary Cordia Reid Donohue in Holy Cross, KY. and returned to his Heavenly Father January 4, 2013. Mr. Donahue was a retired collision manager for the Monarch Auto Company, a U.S. Army veteran serving during WWII in North Africa and Italy, receiving the Silver Star for his bravery.

Among those who preceded him in death include his parents; wife, Margaret McLeish Donahue; sister, Mary T. Donohue; brothers, J.R., Jesse, Earl Donohue and Thomas Humphrey; grandson, Robert J. Donahue.

He leaves to cherish his memory his daughter, Regina M. Jones (Henry); sons, Joseph E. (Paula F.) and Ken F Donahue (Carol); sisters, Mary Helen Riggle and Martha Lillian Recktenwald; five grandchildren, five great grandchildren, special friend, Earrie Reid; a host of other family and friends.

Funeral service will be held 12 P.M. Tuesday at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks (Preston Highway at Brooks Road) with interment in Cedar Grove Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects from 2 P.M. until 8 P.M. Monday at Schoppenhorst.
