Joseph "Joey" Francis Wright

Mr. Joseph Francis “Joey” Wright, age 39, of Hillview returned to his Heavenly Father on September 24, 2021. Mr. Wright was born on December 23, 1981, in Gainesville, Florida to Robin Wright. He was a firefighter for Nichols Fire District and Zoneton Fire District. He was a member of Journey Church in Shepherdsville and an assistant scout master for Troop #81.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 17 years, Christy (Blevins) Wright; children, Eric, Aaron, and Rachel; mother, Robin; brother, James; family friends, Eric Castle, Shawnelle Fout, The Depew Family, and The Southalls; and a host of family and friends.

Funeral service will be conducted at 10 am on Tuesday, October 5, 2021, at Little Flock Baptist Church (5510 N. Preston Highway Shepherdsville, KY 40165) with interment in Brookland Cemetery. Family and friends may pay their respects on Monday from 1-8 pm at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road) and Tuesday from 9 am until time of service at the church.
