Joyce Ann White

Mrs. Joyce Ann White, 84, of Louisville, Kentucky returned to her Heavenly Father on Monday, April 15, 2024. Joyce was born to the late James Kirk and Flora “Hay” Kirk, in Louisville, Kentucky on November 11, 1939. She worked for over 10 years for Sears in the service department. Joyce was a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother. She truly enjoyed spending time with her family, and she will be truly missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, late husband Randy White, and brother Jimmy Kirk.         

She leaves behind her two sons Michael L. Hoerter (Tammy), Joe Hoerter (Dee), two brothers Stuart Kirk, and Gary Kirk, grandchildren Nicholas Hoerter, Brandi Hoerter, Kevin Hoerter, and Brittney Kennell (Codey), great-grandchildren Kylin, Kinlea, Madelynn, Mia, K.K. along with a host of other dear family and friends.  

A funeral service will be held Thursday, April 25, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at Schoppenhorst Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home (4895 N. Preston Hwy.), with a burial to follow at Penn Run Cemetery.  Family and friends may pay their respects on Wednesday April 24, 2024, from 2:00 pm until 8:00 p.m. at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home.
