Mrs. Juanita C. Jolly, age 86, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away peacefully on Friday, June 26, 2026. She was born on January 7, 1940 in Savoyard, Kentucky to the late Philip and Bessie Thomas. Mrs. Jolly loved flowers and working on different puzzles. Her favorites were crossword puzzles. She also enjoyed reading romance novels. Mrs. Jolly is preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband, Joseph Paul Jolly, Jr.; and brothers, Donald Thomas and Shelton Thomas.
She leaves to cherish her sweet memory her son, Greg Jolly (Ellie); daughter, Jennifer Hess; grandchildren, Ashley Jolly, Jessica Cohagen (Jacob), Derrick Hess, Devin Hess, Alex Turner (Brayton), Cory Baker (Baleigh), Blake Haynes (Hollis); great grandchildren, Autumn Hess, Joseph Hess, Evan Hess, and Kahlen; and sisters, Sandy Emerson and Sheila Thomas.
Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, July 1, 2026 at 6:00 pm in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy at Brooks Rd) with cremation to follow. Family and friends may pay their respects on Wednesday from 1:00 pm until the time of service. Expressions of sympathy can be made to Hosparus Health of Louisville in honor of Mrs. Jolly.
