Judy Davis

Mrs. Davis was born February 5, 1950 in Louisville. She retired from the Jefferson County Board of Education as a kindergarten assistant and was a member of Knopp Ave Holy Baptist Church.

Among those who preceded her in death include, her parents, Wilson and Rachel Brewer Underwood and sister, Regina Underwood.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of 46 years, Glen Davis; daughters, Penny Hester (Dalyn), Cathy Benningfield (Tim) and Rhonda Jewell (Jason); grandchildren, Courtney, Andrew, Sarah and Paige; brothers, Melvin Underwood (Dianna), Ricky Underwood (Linda) and Mike Underwood (Lisa) and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm on Saturday at Schoppenhorst Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy at Brooks Rd.; use John Harper entrance) with burial in Brookland Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects on Friday from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm and on Saturday from 10:00 am until the time of service at Schoppenhorst.
