Julia Ann (Vessels) Early

Julia Ann (Vessels) Early, age 84, of Louisville, Ky returned to her Heavenly Father on November 25, 2025, with her family by her side. She was born in Breckinridge County, Kentucky on July 14, 1941, to the late Leo Vessels and Lucille (Yates) Vessels. Julia was in commercial sales for over 30 plus years at H&S Hardware on Preston Highway. She was a dedicated wife, mother and grammy. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, playing cards, telling stories and laughing. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, late husband Chester Early, brothers Donnie Vessels and Charles Vessels, sister Mary Jane Hammond.

She is survived by her children Tammy Baechle (Tab), Joe Early, Kevin Early, Tina Tanzilla (DJ), niece Terri Brown (Jay), nephews Keith Hammond, David Hammond (Wendy), sister Linda Mull, grandchildren Keeyla Selch, Jeremy, Zachary, and Benjamin Tanzilla, great-grandchildren Amabelle, Lia Tanzilla, Elijah and Kinley Selch. Along with a host of cousins, and other dear family and friends.

A Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Schoppenhorst Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home (4895 N. Preston Hwy, at John Harper Freeway). The visitation will be held on Monday, December 1, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and again Tuesday morning from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. Inurnment to follow at a later date.
