Julia "Becky" Morris

Mrs. Julia “Becky” Morris, age 71, of Louisville, Ky returned to her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, March 14, 2023. She was born in Louisville, Kentucky on May 12, 1951, to the late Charles P. Jackson and Reatha (Judd) Jackson. Becky worked for 25 plus years for Hampton Airways as an accountant / bookkeeper, she enjoyed watching movies and playing trivia. Becky collected penguins and peacocks, she liked to cook and bake. She even received best of show at the fair for her cake decorating and won 3 blue ribbons. Becky was very family orientated and once a month she had a family gathering. She will be truly missed by everyone who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her brother John Jackson, and stepfather Robert Cantrell.

She leaves to cherish her memory her, husband of 53 years Mike Morris, son Michael S. Morris II (Melissa), Matthew S. Morris (Janice), Mary Judith Rose Morris (Chris) grandchildren Rebecca Morris (Tyler), Michael Morris (Ashley), Raylene Morris (Marcus), Andrew Morris, Austin Stinson (Patricia), and Alexander Morris, three great-grandchildren Emily, Zane, and Logan Mitchell, along with a host of nieces, nephews and other dear family and friends.

Funeral Service will be held Tuesday March 21, 2023 at 2:00 P. M. at Schoppenhorst Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home (4895 N. Preston Highway at John Harper Freeway). Family and friends may pay their respects on Tuesday March 21, 2023 from 10:00 a m. until time of service. With burial to follow at Brookland Cemetery.
