

Justin Lee Satterfield, age 37, of Louisville, KY, passed away on Sunday, March 30, 2025, at University of Louisville Hospital in Louisville, KY. He was born on March 16, 1988, to his loving parents, Pamela and Tony Satterfield. A devoted husband, Justin shared a beautiful life with his wife, Shannon Satterfield and their dog Reece. He was a beloved son, a cherished friend, and a beacon of kindness to all who knew him. With a heart as big as the world, Justin never hesitated to help anyone in need, no matter the circumstances. His gentle spirit and selfless nature made him truly one of a kind—someone whose warmth and compassion left a lasting impact on everyone he met. For 20 years, Justin dedicated himself to his work at Brown Sprinkler Corporation. A hardworking and skilled professional, he took great pride in his craft and was always willing to lend a hand to those around him. As a mentor and role model, he guided and supported his colleagues, ensuring that those who worked alongside him not only learned the trade but also experienced the kindness and generosity that defined him. Justin's legacy is one of love, generosity, and unwavering kindness. His presence will be deeply missed, but the light he brought into the world will continue to shine through the lives he touched.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother Rose Robbins.
He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 8 years Shannon "Shae" Satterfield, parents Tony Lee and Pamela Satterfield, Grandmother Helen Penick, mother-in-law Melinda Traynor, brother-in-law Jeff Traynor, along with a host of other family and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 5, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. at Schoppenhorst Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home (4895 N. Preston Highway, at John Harper Freeway). Visitation will start at 12:00 p.m. until time of service. Cremation to follow.
