Karen Sue Manning

Mrs. Karen Sue Manning, age 74, of Louisville, returned to her Heavenly Father on Friday, February 28, 2025. Mrs. Manning was born February 2, 1951 to the late Emmitt Smith and Crissy Chasteen Neil. She was a treasured wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

In addition to her parents, her beloved husband, Robert Allen Manning and her brother, Ranel Wayne Smith Sr. preceded her in death.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her son, Jerry Smith; grandchildren, Jerry Smith Jr. (Danielle), Mallory Meenach (Cody) and Cortney Smith; great-grandchildren, Jerry Smith, III, Jaxson Smith, Evander Blair and Cody Jr. and a host of other dear family and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm on Friday, March 7, 2025 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with burial to follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central (Radcliff, KY). Friends and family may pay their respects on Friday from 10:00 am until the time of her service at 12:00 pm at the funeral home.
