Karla Anne Dunbar

Mrs. Karla Anne Dunbar, age 54, of Louisville, Kentucky, returned to her Heavenly Father on Sunday, August 23, 2026, with her family by her side. Karla was born in Lakewood, Ohio, to Glenn Fasnacht and Karen (Houck) Abraham. She was employed for 18 years at Alpha Energy Solutions as a billing processor. Karla enjoyed spending her time with her family and friends. She stood firm in her Faith of loving Jesus Christ and encouraged others to do so also. Karla loved motorcycle riding and truly enjoyed spending time with her motorcycle family. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents.

She leaves to cherish her memories her husband of 35 years Ronald Dunbar, her children James “Bobby” Dunbar (Morgan), William “Billy” Dunbar (Hannah), father Glenn Fasnacht (Nancy), mother Karen Abraham (Eddie), grandchild Juliet, siblings Glenn Lee Fasnacht, Christine Slone (Brian), Catherine Price (Jay), Jeanette Abraham, brother-in-law Sonnie Dunbar, along with a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and other dear family and friends.

A Visitation will take place Sunday, August 30, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Schoppenhorst Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home (4895 N. Preston Highway at John Harper Freeway, Shepherdsville, Kentucky, 40165). Funeral Service will take place on Monday, August 31, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. There will be visitation before the service from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. with burial to follow at Brookland Cemetery.
