Katherine Irene Hale

Mrs. Katherine Irene Hale, age 74, of Louisville, returned to her Heavenly Father on Sunday, December 31, 2023. Mrs. Hale was born in Madison, IN on April 24, 1949 to the late George Edwin Austin and Annarose Sophia Lueders Austin and she was a member of Buechel United Methodist Church. 

In addition to her parents, her beloved husband, Horace Hale and nephew, Eric St. Clair preceded her in death.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her son, Brendon Minton (Renee); grandson, Nikkolas K.K. Minton; siblings, Fred Austin (Kathy), William Austin (Linda Barret) and Caroline Woolen (Michael); nephews and nieces, Anthony Austin, Sam Austin, Joseph Vincent, Charlie Austin, Rebecca Skees, Lee Austin, David St. Clair, John Woolen, Michael Woolen and a host of other dear family and friends.

Memorial service will be held at 1pm on Saturday, January 20, 2024 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with inurnment to follow at Hebron Cemetery. Friends and family may pay their respects on Saturday, January 20, 2024 from 10:00 am until the time of service at 1pm at the funeral home.
