Kathleen Ann Becker

Mrs. Kathleen Ann Becker, age 96, of Beechmont, returned to her Heavenly Father on Monday, October 18, 2021. Mrs. Becker was born in Detroit, Michigan on October 25, 1924 to the late Hoke and Kathleen Sweat. She was a member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great grandmother, and aunt.

She died at home surrounded by her family. She left an unrivaled legacy of love and caring that extended well beyond family and friends. Her home was always a welcoming place and the center for countless celebrations.

Among those who preceded her in death are, her husband, Vincent Becker; sister, Eileen Wiedmar Arnold; brother, Curtis Sweat and her son-in-law, Jerry Ringo.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her daughters, Sheila Ringo and Donna Stopher; grandchildren, Lisa Jenkins, Craig Ringo, Vincent Stopher, John Stopher and Jeremy Ringo; 16 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and a host of other dear family and friends.

Memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, October 30, 2021 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church (3525 Rudd Ave., Louisville, KY) followed by a Celebration of Life in the parish cafeteria.

Inurnment of Mrs. Kathleen Ann Becker and her beloved husband, Vincent Becker will be held at Calvary Cemetery.
