Kathleen Rose Morgan

Mrs. Kathleen Rose Morgan, age 67, of Shepherdsville, returned to her Heavenly Father on Thursday, July 20, 2023. Mrs. Morgan was born in Louisville, KY on August 18, 1955 to the late Herbert Otto and Geneva Schnell Otto. She retired from Jefferson County Public Schools and was a dedicated member of St. Rita and St. Luke Catholic Churches.

In addition to her parents, her beloved husband, Samuel Morgan and brothers, Steve Otto and Bill Otto preceded her in death.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, John Morgan (April), Jennifer Brummett (Dale) and Jason Morgan (Angela); grandchildren, Samantha Adams (John), Courtney McCall (Forrest), Trey Brummett, Christopher Gray (Madison), Nicholas Morgan, Amanda Morgan, Gage Harris, Dayton Johnson, Molly Morgan and Daniel Morgan; great- grandchildren, Scarlett Gray, Elliana  Adams and Ivy Harris; siblings, Carlene Smothers, Emily Watts (John), Mary Schweinhart (Eddie) and Thomas Otto (Kelly) and a host of other dear family and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm on Thursday, July 27, 2023 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with burial to follow at Mt. Holly Cemetery. Friends and family may pay their respects on Wednesday from 12:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
