Ms. Kathy Ann Burress, age 66, of Louisville, Kentucky, returned to her Heavenly Father on Sunday, June 7, 2026. Kathy was born on May 17, 1960, in Campbellsville, Kentucky, to the late Ralph Garnett Burress and Frances Jewell (Kerr) Burress. She retired from McDonalds, after 20 plus years of service. She was a loving and kind sister, aunt, and great aunt. She enjoyed watching Television programs, going shopping, and going out to eat. She loved her fur baby her cat “Faith”. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.
She leaves to cherish her memories her sisters Vickie Taylor Hedges (Jimmy), Debbie Burress, one nephew Daniel Taylor (Marie), great nephew Cooper Taylor, and great niece Amelia Taylor, boyfriend Hank Nelson. Along with a host of cousins and other dear family and friends.
A Visitation will be held on Friday, June 12, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at (Schoppenhorst Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home 4895 N. Preston Highway at John Harper Freeway). A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday in the chapel. Burial to follow at Brookland Cemetery behind the Funeral Home.
