Kathy Jean Ferguson

Mrs. Kathy Jean Ferguson, age 59, of Okolona, returned to her Heavenly Father on Friday, March 25, 2016. Mrs. Ferguson was born in Louisville, KY on January 13, 1957 and was a member of Victory General Baptist Church.

Among those who preceded her in death include, her mother, Magaline Dockery.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Stanley Ferguson Sr.; children, Heather Ferguson (Louis Wilkin) and Bryan Ferguson (Hope); stepson, Stanley Ferguson Jr. (Sarah); 3 grandchildren; father and stepmother, Clayton and Dee Dockery; siblings, Marilyn Smith (Darnel), Pauletta Howard (Jeff) and Lesa Schoenbachler (Pete) and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with interment in Brookland Cemetery. Friends and family may pay their respects on Monday from 1:00 pm until 8:00 pm and on Tuesday from 12:00 pm until the time of service at Schoppenhorst.

Brother Garnett Tucker Jr. of Victory General Baptist Church will officiate.
