

Kaylen was born January 4, 2003 to Tyler and Amanda Bratcher in Louisville, Kentucky. She was a 2021 graduate of Southern High School. She was currently involved with Youth Built Louisville in the CNA program to pursue her dream of working in the medical field. Kaylen’s beautiful smile that carried her contagious laugh could brighten even the darkest of rooms. She had a sense of humor that was unmatched. Kaylen was an incredible singer and talented painter. Kaylen had a giving heart and true concern for the people in her life. To know Kaylen was to love her. Kaylen had unconditional love for nearly everyone she met but especially for her closest friends Anna Dadisman, Olivia Dyer and Maisha Tambo.Kaylen is proceeded in death by her little brother Kyle Sam, Aunts Neema Tambo and Kathy Bradford, Papaw Ted Green, Great Grandmother Sandra Tucker, Grandfather Stephen Amule Tambo, Great Grandfathers James Tucker, Richard Bradford and Joe Vize and Great Great Grandmother Ella Rose Hadley. Kaylen is survived by her parents Tyler and Amanda Bratcher. Siblings- Bailey, Avery and Jackson Bratcher, Alaina and Lakelyn Case (Amanda and Curt Case). Grandparents- Ato Fatuma Amule, Sue Green, Patricia Green, Patti Bradford-Roth (Terry), Davy Bratcher (Lisa). Great Grandmothers Rita Bradford and Gloria Vize. Aunts- Kiden, Night, Nun and Kade Tambo. Mary P’Oryem, Samantha Doolin, Allison Green, Alexis Krebs (Andy), Nikalette Wingham (Chad), Saida Umutoni, Christina Sampson and Heather Vaughn. Uncles- Sabiri Tambo, Mawa Loule, Kody Bradford (Kelly), Rick Bradford (Johanne), Tim Bradford, and Steve Bradford (Charlotte). Cousins- Maisha, Maneno and Natanei Tambo. Malena Fint. Yaemanuel and Yasmina Lakou, Mozart Kolli. Alier and Cecilia Deng. Jeremiah and Timmy Sampson. Konner, Kameron, Kruz, Kash and Kaci Bradford. Xavier and Harper Doolin, Layla and Cassie Tucker, Hadley Sturgill, Conner Wingham, and Tara Yarber (Patrick) as well as a multitude of extended family and loved ones. Visitation for Kaylen’s family and friends will be held at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks 4895 North Preston Highway, Shepherdsville, KY 40165 on Wednesday February 16th from 1:30pm-8:00pm. Memorial service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday February 17th at 12:00pm. Burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery 1600 Newburg Road, Louisville, KY 40205. Kaylen’s favorite flowers were pink and/or white hydrangeas but more than flowers she loved all greenery and potted plants. Her favorite colors were pink and purple.
